Summer Gathering 2026
If we have been a bit quiet so far this year, it’s because we have been in discussions about the future and we are very pleased to say that it looks as though we now have enough new volunteers to continue to take the Consortium forward…which is not to say we wouldn’t welcome new volunteers for the committee should you wish to join and help influence the direction WNCBC goes in!
In the meantime, we are planning a Summer Gathering which will take place at 12 noon on July 2nd at Kirkwhelpington Village Hall.
The main topic (amongst others!) for discussion will be Charitable Incorporated Organisations – why, how etc etc. If you would like to know more about this, then book now! Attendance is free and a finger buffet lunch will be served. If your hall has already become a CIO perhaps you have experiences to share with others (both good and bad!) so do come along as well.
The Gathering is also a great opportunity to meet committee members from other halls in West Northumberland, and it’s surprising how many good ideas and connections can come from this…you’re not alone out there!
